Yes I know it has been forever, and I promise a real update is headed your way soon.
In the mean time, I need your help.
I need each of you to ask me 5 interview-style questions. Not job interview, but just say you were interviewing someone for a magazine. I know some of you you won't do this, but if a few of you could, that would be awesome.

Well, I haven't really posted in here for ages have I?
I have 2 trips to Sydney to recount, which I will do tonight.
I will have a possible (fingers crossed) new boyfriend, if I can get my shit together and ask him out tomorrow night without screwing it completely.
And I have a doctors appointment in an hour for 2 things. One is a broken toe. I think its more dislocated, but anyway, it hurts like a mother fucker and is bruised as hell. The second thing is the possibility that I have depression. Alot of people around me are worried about me, so last night I called an access line number they gave us at Tafe, and the lovely counsellor on the other end talked to me for about an hour I think. It may have been longer. And she has given my number to general counselling here in Wagga, as well as the Mental Health people, and urged me to see a doctor. So I am. In an hour. And I am scared to death. But if something is wrong, I need to do something about it.
I promise tonight you will get a proper, lengthy post from me.

Whats this? An actual update from Laura?
Don't keel over in shock. I don't want the karma of your deaths on my soul.
Terry is having a lay down before we go pick Katie up from class, so I figured now was as good a time as any for an actual update. I know I have been pretty slack in that department.
Tafe is starting to shit me. Like really shit me. Most of my teachers aren't there, so I either have substitutes, or my classes are cancelled. Its really hard to stay motivated when that happens.
Ben and I are just friends at the moment. Things were a little too rushed I think. So now we are just going to go slow and see what happens.
I've been spending a bit of time out at south campus. For those of you not for Wagga, its uni accomodation, on a seperate campus in town. There aren't any classes out there, just a couple of blocks. Its been good, spending some time with some new people. Sometimes I get too wrapped up in my friends and my whole life becomes about them, to the point where I tend to neglect everything else going on around me.
It's Terry's 25th on Thursday, which is awesome. We are having a BBQ for him, which I am looking forward to. The chance for different groups of both Terry's and my own friends to come together.
I have an appointment to go and see a counsellor next week. i am still feeling a little unbalanced, and people around me are starting to notice. My temper is getting worse, and so are my mood swings.
I'm going home this weekend as well. Not entirely sure that I want to, but I am. You cant pick your family. I guess I'll just have to suck it up and put up with it for the weekend. I really really dont want to spend time with them if I can avoid it, but like I said, they are family, and they want to see me.
I want to move out of my house. I know, after all the hassle I went through to find it. I probably wont move out, but right now I want to.
Anyway, to sign off, a new song I like.
"What Hurts The Most" I can take the rain on the roof of this empty house That don’t bother me I can take a few tears now and then and just let them out I’m not afraid to cry every once in a while Even though going on with you gone still upsets me There are days every now and again I pretend I’m ok But that’s not what gets me
What hurts the most Was being so close And having so much to say And watching you walk away And never knowing What could have been And not seeing that loving you Is what I was tryin’ to do
It’s hard to deal with the pain of losing you everywhere I go But I’m doin’ It It’s hard to force that smile when I see our old friends and I’m alone Still Harder Getting up, getting dressed, livin’ with this regret But I know if I could do it over I would trade give away all the words that I saved in my heart That I left unspoken
What hurts the most Is being so close And having so much to say And watching you walk away And never knowing What could have been And not seeing that loving you Is what I was trying to do
What hurts the most Is being so close And having so much to say And watching you walk away And never knowing What could have been And not seeing that loving you Is what I was trying to do
Not seeing that loving you That’s what I was trying to do

[3-4-06 at 2pm] |
I’ve done this one too many times now; Wake to a face without a name, Lying to close to the flame. So tell me how I am so perfect and how my voice puts you to sleep, Your words don’t, they don’t mean a thing.
Time to confess, will you forgive me? I’m not as bad as you all think.
I’ve done this one too many times now; Wake to a face without a name, Lying to close to the flame. So tell me how I am so perfect and how my voice puts you to sleep, Your words don’t, they don’t mean shit to me.

In an effort to combat insomnia, these are taken from the princess' blurty.
Laura, your destiny is to be a Director Whether you know it or not, this is the role that is most in tune with who you are at your core. As a Director, you are an upper-echelon leader with the unique ability to mobilize people and resources in the direction of a goal. You are able to coordinate essential details to ensure maximum progress toward a goal, while eliminating non-essential ones, which gives you a knack for creating efficiency. You trust your gut feeling about things and this makes you thoughtful and skilled at the organization of complex ideas. People admire your wisdom and you make them believe that anything is possible. You are outgoing, charismatic, reliable, and expect the best from people, but it might appear at times that the bottom line is what interests you most. You will only alienate people this way, when you should remember that your real strength lies in your supportive nature that typically inspires people to meet their goals and feel you are a refuge in a chaotic world.
````````````````````````````````
Laura, your mood tends to swing between Uneasy & Sad. Most of the time you feel uneasy. Your outlook on life tends to be negative and you spend considerable energy dwelling on your negative feelings and emotions. Your uneasy nature causes you to get worked up over every negative aspect of your life. When you feel sad, your outlook on life tends to be negative and you are plagued by feelings of dissatisfaction.
When you experience the ups and downs of mood swings, the most important thing to remember is that you're not alone. Everyone—even the calmest individual—is liable to fly off the handle now and again.
Well that one suprised me. i consider myself a generally happy person.
`````````````````````````````````
Laura, your Sex IQ is 128! You scored higher than 95% of other people who have taken our test.
As you were taking the test, we measured how your sexual knowledge stacks up in the 8 areas that contribute to your Sex IQ. You scored highest when it comes to knowing about sexual communication. But it might surprise you how you scored in the other areas that make you sexually smart.
I really doubt that surprises anyone
``````````````````````````````````
The results are in! You are...
78% Untelligent! You are one smooth chick! Your score is higher than the current worldwide average of 64%! Your score is unique, however, so keep reading.
Here is the custom report of your personality than led our team of geeks to conclude (with confidence) that you are a resourceful and sly woman: " The subject shows an astounding level of intelligence, and her sense of observation is one of her best qualities. Considering this, she shows a lot of potential, but that's only part of the equation.
Also, as much as we hate violence, an occasional mauling is one way to solve day-to-day problems like unpleasant coworkers or pesky door-to-door salesmen. She just isn't tough enough, sir, and avoids any situation that involves violence.
Finally, the subject displayed a pathetic and useless (seriously bad) sense of humor, a nearly satanic lack of morality, and a complete lack of self-confidence. The balance of these three traits is important; high levels of confidence, medium levels of morality, and a good level of humor make for the strongest individuals. "
Me? Not violent? ok then..
``````````````````````````````````
You are 69% Messianic!
Well, we can't all be the Messiah. You're pretty sacred, but a few candles short of a full wreath. Ever considered sainthood? It only requires three miracles, and we hear they're counting well-executed parallel parking maneuvers these days.
LMAO!
```````````````````````````````````
So there we have it. Maybe I can sleep now.
I have been getting kind of slack, haven't I?
Well I have 2 hours to kill before class starts,a nd I am one of 2 people in the library, so here we go.
My house is finally full. 3 boys and 3 girls. It's nice. We all get along really well which is awesome.
Terry, hun, I don't think I can tell you just how awesome you are. For those of you who don't know, Terry puts up with me on a daily basis. He takes me in to town, picks me up, lets me come around to his place and eat his cheese and use his internet. I know I am a right bitch at times, but I adore you hun. If I step over the line, just put me back in my box.
Started playing Neverwinter Nights. It's not bad, but I have to say I prefer sitting down and playing DnD with a group of people alot more.
Tafe is going ok. I just have to focus and not be lazy and take days off.
I've started going to church again, which is making me feel better inside.
I'm eating better. Lost 2 kilos since I moved into my new place. Unfortunately all the crap I used to eat is coming out of my system, and my skin has totally broken out >.<
Anyway, until next time!
There have been three times in my life when I have been truly terrified for my life.
The very first happened when I was younger, and the only person I have discussed it with is my psychiatrist. This is also the only person I will ever discuss it with.
The second was last year, when I had meningitis, and was told I had 24 hours to live.
And the third was today. Police say they are looking into it. If I find out who you are mate, your a dead man.
I just want to move to Wagga and get away from everything here. All the crap, all the memories, and hopefully this latest development. The sooner this is all done and settled, the better. Because my own paranoia wasn't hard enough for me to live with without adding this to it. I am not leaving my room until I move to Wagga.
| I know you're feeling like you're lost. |
[1-2-06 at 11pm] |
My whole world feels like it is crumbling down around me, and I have no where to turn. I know alot of you are about to jump up and down, and say I can talk to you, but right now, I need someone to hold me whilst I sob, and to tell me that it's all ok, and to pat my hair. I so desperately want to call Steven and get a hug from him, to talk until I can't anymore and to know that someone listens to me, but he is busy with things that are far more important, and I don't want to bother him.
I have never felt so alone, or helpless, or hated myself so much for it. It is the day after New Years day. I am supposed to be happy and relishing a chance to start over. But we never get to start over.
Mortality is over rated.
| These things I wanna say... |
[12-31-05 at 9pm] |
Taken from Jizz
List ten things you want to say to people but know you never will.
- Don't say who they are. - Disable comments. - Never discuss it again
Each of these is a different person. If you have guessed, believe me when I say you have probably guessed wrong. These are the unobvious feelings that I will never say.
And don't ask me about this on MSN, I will not discuss it. I may talk to a couple of you about it irl, but those of you who I will know who you are.
1. I love you. From the depths of my soul. Every time I speak to you, even when its not under good circumstances, I realise that more and more. It's not really a romantic love, but I can not define it.
2. I hate the way our falling out is made to be my fault. I am not the only one who gave up you know. It takes two.
3. I won't ever be able to thank you enough for all the advice you have given me. I am sorry things didn't work out between us, but no matter how much time may pass, know that you will always be my friend.
4. I hate how inadequate you make me feel. I know that I will never be perfect, but my best efforts should be enough for you.
5. I hate the way one look from you can have me so turned on I want to tie you to a bed and hear you moan my name over and over. And you encourage it. But I want someone who wants me as much as I want them.
6. We've never met, but two words from you can light up my day. I adore you hun.
7. I am sorry that I don't feel the same way about you that you do about me. You are a great kid, really, but not what I am looking for. And I am definately not what you need.
8. You have more inner strength than you realise. Sometimes I just feel like grabbing you and shaking you until you realise it.
9. Can't you see you are hurting him? Stop being so selfish.
10. We can't hold you up forever, learn to stand on your own two feet.
Well I got my hair cut today. And now it has decided to go back to its natural curliness. I dont think I can handle having blonde AND curly hair right now, so tomorrow its of to the hairdressers to spend money I should be saving to move to Wagga on getting it straightened. Again.
Wow. It seems like just yesterday that I was meeting Adam in the city near town hall to exchange Christmas Presents and head to nights out at Zanzibar. This year seems to have gone by in a blur, especially the last couple of months.
It looks like there is a move in the works. *crosses fingers* Getting out of my parents house would be great. And the vast majority of my friends are in Wagga now anyway.
*Big waves to Steven* Perth really is gorgeous, and I am glad you are having the chance to enjoy yourself.
Christmas wishes to all of you celebrating the holiday.
Oooh, and I finally got a working laptop for Steven for Christmas, after frying the last one. *does a little dance* It's smaller and lighter than mine and has a cool little docking station and stuff. But I still love my baby.
And to end this, what would a post by me be without lyrics? Don't read too far into these ones, they are just a song I was listening to today that I like.
What you see's not what you get With you there's just no measurement No way to tell what's real from what isn't there Your eyes they sparkle That's all changed into lies that drop like acid rain You washed away the best of me You don't care
You know you did it I'm gone To find someone to live for In this world There's no light at the end of the tunnel tonight Just a bridge that I gotta burn You're wrong If you think you can walk right through my door That is just so you Coming back when I've finally moved on I'm already gone
Sometimes shattered Never open Nothing matters When you're broken That was me whenever I was with you Always ending Always over Back and forth, up and down like a rollercoaster I am breaking That habit Today
You know you did it I'm gone To find someone to live for In this world There's no light at the end of the tunnel tonight Just a bridge that I gotta burn You're wrong If you think you can walk right through my door That is just so you Coming back when I've finally moved on I'm already gone
There is nothing you can say Sorry doesn't cut it, babe Take the hint and walk away 'Cause I'm gone Doesn't matter what you do It's what you did that's hurting you All I needed was the truth Now I'm gone
What you see's not what you get What you see's not what you get
You know you did it I'm gone To find someone to live for In this world There's no light at the end of the tunnel tonight Just a bridge that I gotta burn You're wrong If you think you can walk right through my door That is just so you Coming back when I've finally moved on I'm already gone I'm already gone Oh, I'm already gone, gone, gone, gone Already gone I'm gone
And now to put last nights post in context. Most of you will think you know what it is about, but you're probably wrong. It's not about anyone person specifically. Just a small excerpt of a long, long list that is in my written journal. Yep, I still write in that. So yeah, its about lots of different people, and lots of different things.
And ooh, I got a safe for christmas. So now I dont have to worry about anyone finding my journals. *dances*
